Six sided and Others

One of the founders of the small Italian role-playing game publisher told me about their filmmaking history, the memory of dead mice, and their next release. The makers of Household, Outgunend, and several other role-playing games are the Italian publisher Two Little Mice. The company was founded 9 years ago by two good friends. I had the chance to talk to one of the founders, Simone Formicola, at the 2024 Essen SPIEL fair.

  I talked with Simone Romano, one of the designers of the dungeon crawler Sword & Sorcery at 2024 Essen SPIEL. He created the game together with Nunzio Surace with their joint company, the Gremlin Project. In this epic-fantasy board game, you control legendary heroes summoned from the dead and, of course, slay monsters. Simonbe and Nunzio's first game was Galaxy Defenders, which, like Sword & Sorcery, is a co-operative game. Boardgamegeek lists 22pcs of accessories for the game. I spoke to Simone at the Ares Games booth at the 2024 Essen SPIEL fair.

The Shadowdark TTRPG won more award at this year's ENnie Awards. On this occassion I sent some questions to Kelsey Dionne, the creator of the game via email, to which she replied the followings.

Salvage Union is London based, two two person company’s game. The game is a post-apocalyptic mech tabletop roleplaying game set in a scarred , dystopian, world, which is rules by corportations. The players, the Salvagers live outside the corportations control roaming the wastes in a vast mech, called a Union Crawler. All player have an own mech in this d20 system, which is powered by the Quest RPG. At this year's UK Games Expo the game won Best Roleplaying Game award in People’s Choice category. Below you can read an interview with the two founder of the company, and co-creator of the game, Aled Lawlor and Panayiotis Lines ( Panny ).

In the October of 2023 I attended the ESSEN Spiel. There, I had the opportunity to make an interview Martin Takaichi from Free League. The interview was earlier published in Hungarian, and as looking back to old year, I am posting this interview now in English. Free League is a Swedish TTRPG and board game publisher. They games includes Symbaroum, Tales from the Loop, Mörk Borg and this year's publication, Dragonbane.
